A new service,
built right from the start.

A one-person studio for MVPs, early systems, and AI transformation (AX).

Start a project

A good fit
for work like this

  • An MVP you need to turn into a service and test quickly
  • The first server architecture and infrastructure
  • Bringing AI coding tools, or AI and automation, into how a team works

Services

Five kinds of work, centered on new builds.

  1. Backend / API development

Design and build a new service's server and API from scratch.

    • API design
    • Code with tests
    • An automated deploy pipeline
  2. Infrastructure and performance

Start light, then reduce bottlenecks and cost as usage grows.

    • Infrastructure setup
    • Bottleneck diagnosis and fixes
    • Monitoring and alerts
  3. Full-stack web MVP

A first version, from the landing page through the admin, in one pass.

    • A deployed service
    • An admin
    • An operations guide
  4. Apps and games

Ship a mobile app, or add economy, ranking, and event servers to a game.

    • A store-ready build
    • A game server
    • Operations tools
  5. AI adoption and automation (AX)

Bring AI coding tools to a team, or attach AI and automation to repetitive work.

    • A priority list
    • Team working rules
    • Automation workflows

Why clients
hire Arctant

  • An MVP that still stands after you grow

Having run a large service, the design avoids the parts that collapse later.

  • Infrastructure that watches the bill

Light at the start. Once it has traction, the setup is aimed at long-term cost.

  • AX that actually runs

Adoption does not stop at the tool. The working rules so the team uses it the same way come with it.

  • The person who builds it also runs it

After launch, budget, and schedule are thought through from the client's side.

  • One person, start to finish

No handoff in the middle. Communication stays fast, and responsibility stays clear.

Experience

Founder Gyeongnam Science High School – Seoul National University, Computer Science and Engineering

  • About6

years building software, mostly servers, including about 2 years of full-stack work.

  • 50k DAU

A live game server, developed and operated for 4+ years. The game is at a scale of about ₩70 billion in annual revenue.

  • 0→1

A new business built from scratch, intended to be spun off.

How the work happens

  • The point, first

Understand why a feature is needed. If there is a better way, say so.

  • Same person from the first call to delivery

The person you talk to is the person who designs, builds, and delivers.

  • Remote, and focused on new builds

Everything is remote. The work is concentrated on things that are being made new.

Questions

Can you work on-site at our office?

Residency at an office is not something I take on. The work is remote, and an in-person meeting is possible when we set the time.

How do contracts and tax invoices work?

Contracts are in the name of Arctant, a sole proprietorship, and tax invoices are issued under that name.

Can you maintain an old existing system?

Keeping an old system running as-is is not the work. Refactoring it, or an AX shift that puts AI and automation into the work, is.

I worry about the quality of AI-written code.

Not using AI, at this point, is what leaves the work behind. Quality depends less on the tool than on who is using it. I have used AI agents since they first appeared, and the design and the review stay in my hands.

Will a one-person studio slip the schedule?

One person is why the schedule can be set directly. Priorities are not handed off, the number of projects stays limited, and the start date and the schedule are fixed in the first conversation.
